Clear answers before you travel.
Everything you need to know about choosing, installing and using your eSIM.
Common questions
When should I install my eSIM?
You can usually install over Wi-Fi before travelling, but the start of validity depends on your particular plan. Check whether your plan begins on installation, first network connection or another stated event before installing.
Can I keep my normal number?
Yes. Your normal SIM can still handle calls and messages while the Simrove eSIM supplies travel data.
Will my phone work with an eSIM?
Your phone must support eSIM and be network-unlocked. On iPhone, check Settings → Mobile Service for an Add eSIM option. On Android, check Settings → Connections or Network & Internet for Add eSIM. Menu names vary; confirm support with your device manufacturer if unsure.
Can I use one eSIM in multiple countries?
Only if you purchase a regional or multi-country plan covering those destinations. Check the country list for your specific plan before buying.
How do I install an eSIM on my iPhone?
Connect to Wi-Fi, open Settings → Mobile Service (or Cellular) → Add eSIM, and scan the installation QR code or use the provided installation link. Keep the QR code private. Your device must support eSIM.
How do I install an eSIM on Android?
Connect to Wi-Fi, open Settings → Connections → SIM manager or Network & Internet → SIMs, then choose Add eSIM. Scan your installation QR code and follow the on-screen instructions. Exact steps depend on your phone.
When does my data plan start?
Activation and validity rules vary by plan. Review the specific plan description before purchase and follow the installation instructions. Do not assume that every eSIM starts only when you land.
What if my QR code or installation email does not arrive?
Check your spam or junk folder and confirm the email address used for the order. If it is still missing, email support@simrove.com with your order reference. Never post your QR code publicly.
Can I request a refund?
Yes. Refunds and statutory cancellation rights depend on the circumstances, including whether the eSIM was delivered, activated or faulty. Read our refund and cancellation policy or contact support with your order reference.
What happens if my data runs out?
Data allowances and expiry dates are set by the selected plan. Check your plan details before travel; where additional data or a replacement plan is available, purchase it separately. Availability of top-ups is not guaranteed for every eSIM.
